...Tha dates changed. Again. All I did was chase after somethin' interestin' through a cave. Yeah was down there fer a while, havin' fun, but didn't think it was this long.

December. Don't got a clue how it's December already. Dates don't matter all tha' much, but dunno how time passes so quick. Guess it's nice tha' there ain't much sittin' 'round ta do here.

If anyone's interested, there ain't much eatin' on these guys, but there're a few o' 'em in tha cave, an' tha adults 're fun. Don't wanna take too many out, wanna make sure there're plenty fer tha future.

Heh. Guess tha only good tha' came o' this is tha' I prolly missed an event 'r five. Most o' 'em ain't been bad, but tha less tha' hit, tha better.

[Private from Yachiru]
Guess it's time fer presents already, an' I ain't got Ayasegawa ta help this time... don't wanna get 'Chiru candy, 'cause she's got a lot o' it already. Anyone got any ideas?

Then why tha mention o' reiatsu? Ya tried ta find me an' failed. Don't wanna know why ya tried. Thought yer underlings were inept. Shouldn't ya take care o' tha fightin' so it's done righ', by yer own reasonin'?

Date: 2008-12-03 01:27 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
Isn't that obvious? Your reiatsu is particularly crude. Having it be gone was pleasant. ...And they are inept, but in large enough numbers they can get things done. I have better things to do than go after each individual sample.

From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
An' there I think yer lyin'. Yama already don't like me. If my reiatsu was aggravatin', he wouldn't be toleratin' me a' all.

Cowards always have excuses tha sound good ta 'em. Tha's how they live wi' 'emselves.

I don't trust his judgement any more than yours, considering his choices in captains.

Excuses? I'm not surprised you don't understand my logic. And I have absolutely no difficulty living with myself.

He's been senile fer a' least a century. But he's an opinionated senile. Just remember tha way he went after Shunsui an' Jyuushirou. Heh. Somethin' tha' annoys him he'll take down.

O' course ya ain't got a problem. Yer self-deluded. Tha's all righ'. Maybe one day someone'll knock sense inta ya. Hope I get ta do it, heh.

Date: 2008-12-03 01:44 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
Only that brief a time? And he shouldn't have stopped when he went after them. One's chronically ill, the other's a drunkard. A shame that it was the traitors who were remotely competent. And Yamamoto couldn't kill them off either.

I doubt I'm interested in obtaining what you would consider 'sense.'

Said a' least. An' either o' 'em 're worth more'n ten o' ya. Ukitake fights even when his body's givin' up, an' tha other knows how ta stand his ground an' enjoy sake.

Yama won't attack people he thinks 're weak, but don't realize he's gotten weak.

Yeah, ya don't seem ta be all tha' smart in anythin' besides yer lab stuff.

Date: 2008-12-03 01:53 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
You're not able to judge the worth of anything. And neither of them are particularly interesting or worthwhile.

I don't think he's weak. But he's not as capable as he's supposed to be.

That's all I really need.

I know wha' friendship is, an' trustworthiness, an' wha' it means ta know tha' ya can rely on someone. Don't think ya do. An' so I'd have ta say tha' yer tha one wi' judgement issues.

Suit yerself. He ain't fit fer bein' soutaichou, though.

Heh. Ain't it just.

Date: 2008-12-03 01:58 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
So, you're fond of your knowledge of completely useless ideals?

A soutaichou is unnecessary, I think.

Of course you wouldn't appreciate it.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:03 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
Useless. Yer pretty comfortable callin' things useless when ya ain't even familiar wi' 'em. Guess ya've always been alone, so ya don't get wha's wrong wi' it. Glad I ain't so happy wi' limited knowledge as ya 're.

Ain't sure 'bout tha'. Need someone ta take care o' tha masses tha' ain't worth tha time o' any taichou.

Could say tha same 'bout ya an' understandin' loyalty an' such.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:11 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
You... you're calling my knowledge limited? I've witnessed friendship bonds, tested the relationship bonds of various subjects. It all comes apart once you cut deep enough. I don't see what the attraction is.

In that case he's perfectly qualified for the position. He can 'take care' of those who can't look after themselves, while the rest of us get on with better things.

I know loyalty. Nemu is quite loyal to me.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:14 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
Ain't talkin' 'bout tha tangible stuff. An' no, tha real stuff don't come apart when ya cut deep. Yer knowledge is limited when it's stuff tha' can't be measured 'r weighed.

If he'd stop orderin' us 'round, then yeah.

Ya made her loyal ta ya. It ain't out of any desire from her.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:19 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
It certainly does all fall apart. I've had siblings cutting each other apart under the right stimulus. Parents drowning their children, close allies mutilating one other. The mind is just a collection of chemicals that can be manipulated.

He can order what he wants, as long as it doesn't interfere with me.

I developed her with free will. She would leave if she had any desire to.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:24 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
Only those tha' 're afraid o' death can be manipulated like tha'. Gin. Tousen. Ya. Not Ukitake, 'r Kyouraku, 'r me, 'r likely Unohana. Not Ayasegawa, 'r Yachiru, 'r Madarame, 'r Abarai, 'r Iba. I taught 'em. They know wha' loyalty is.

He tries ta interfere wi' me all tha time. Don't pay much heed but he gets in tha way sometimes.

Righ'. Ain't 'bout ta believe tha'.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:30 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
Anyone can be manipulated. And why would I be afraid of death? I've recorded it so much, it seems like it can be interesting. And congratulations on sharing your delusions with a group of fools?

Why would he even bother with you? Even he should be able to tell that any effort would be wasted.

It doesn't matter to me what you believe.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:35 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
Ya hide so much, figured ya might wanna avoid it. An' yeah, anyone can be manipulated, but there's a limit. Group o' fools? Heh. Easy ta call foolish wha' ya don't understand.

He can order tha gate closed so captains ain't able ta go mess wi' Hollows. Ya should know tha'.

So why do ya even argue wi' me if nothin' I say 'r believe matters ta ya? 'r is it tha' ya just like bein' show ta be foolish?

Date: 2008-12-03 02:41 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
Of course I want to avoid it. That doesn't mean I'm bothered by the idea. And any belief in limits isn't to be trusted. There's no reason to understand a delusion like that.

He can't do that for long. Not without risking too much damage to the human world.

Why do you argue with me?

Date: 2008-12-03 02:46 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
Then yer better'n Tousen. But ya still don't understand people. Prolly 'cause ya don't really live.

Can limit tha openin'.

'cause it's fun ta see how closed yer eyes 're ta reality when yer so wrapped up in chemicals an' vials.

From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
I understand what's interesting to me. I'm content with that life.

Yes, but it's still less effective.

And you're blind and enjoying your fighting, getting wrapped up in blood and entrails. At least I spend my time on something productive.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:55 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
Small minds 're easily content, tha' sort o' thing?

We know tha'. He don't.

Nah, my eyes 're open. I'm willin' ta give near everythin' a shot, an' then I decide wha's worth my time an' wha' ain't.

Date: 2008-12-03 02:58 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
Nothing like that.

I never said he was competent.

Oh, you should try being a research subject then, if you're so open minded.

Date: 2008-12-03 03:00 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
Pretty close ta tha'.

Neither did I.

Open ta doin'. Not bein' done ta. Ya even try ta use me an' ya'll regret it. Though ya won't have much time ta regret in.

Date: 2008-12-03 03:05 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] law-of-reason.livejournal.com
Of course you'd think so.

...The thought of you trying to dissect something properly is almost worth testing itself.

From: [identity profile] joyinthefight.livejournal.com
O' course. It's me speakin' after all.

I know how ta make a cut. Can show ya. Can show ya on ya, even. Ain't picky 'bout where on ya, either.
